Ontario - ASEK Survival Knife System, Molded Handle, Nylon Sheath

The Ontario ASEK Survival Knife System includes a clip point survival knife, an aluminum strap cutter tool, and a tactical sheath. The ASEK Survival Knife features a 5 inch part serrated clip point blade made of 1095 carbon steel, .1875 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 50-54. The blade has a Zinc Phosphate finish to inhibit rust, and a saw tooth spine. The contoured one-piece handle has a rubberized over mold, and is ribbed for secure grip. The cross guard has spear holes, and the same rubberized over mold as the handle, for insulating purposes. The butt cap is suitable for use as a hammer, and includes a glass breaker tip, and a lanyard hole. The ASEK knife has an overall length of 10 1/4 inches. The Strap Cutter Multi Tool features black anodized aluminum construction, with strap cutter, finger grooved handle, standard screwdriver, and lanyard. The Strap Cutter has an overall length of 6 5/8 inches, and it stows inside the sheath. The ASEK tactical sheath has olive drab nylon construction with Kydex insert, two leg protectors and straps
